Quetta: Polio Eradication Campaign in Balochistan Postponed to December 30

Quetta:The *Polio Eradication Campaign* in *Balochistan* has been postponed once again, and will now commence on *December 30*. The *Emergency Operation Center (EOC)* in Balochistan announced that the campaign, which was initially scheduled to begin earlier, has been delayed due to preparations at the district level across the province.

This is the second time that the campaign has been postponed, as logistical and operational challenges have hindered the timely launch of the initiative. The delay has raised concerns among health officials who are committed to eradicating polio in the region.

The *Emergency Operation Center* clarified that all preparations are being finalized, and the new launch date of December 30 has been set to ensure that the campaign is carried out effectively. The provincial authorities are now focused on ensuring that the vaccination drive reaches all areas without any further delays.
