Punjab Government to Introduce Modern Agricultural Reforms with AI-Based Technology and Electric Machinery

Lahore,Pakistan:The Punjab government is pushing forward with various reforms aimed at modernizing the agricultural sector, including the promotion of advanced farming practices. Recently, Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, held a meeting with Han Wei, CEO of Beijing AI Force Tech, where they agreed to set up an assembly and manufacturing plant for e-agriculture in the province.

As part of this development, AI Force Tech will establish an e-mechanized model farm in the outskirts of Lahore. The 17-acre farm will incorporate electric tractors, harvesters, land levelers, and other machinery, showcasing the future of farming in Punjab.

The company will also set up a plant to manufacture robotic agricultural tools in Punjab. These tools will include transportation robots and harvesting robots, aimed at increasing efficiency in the sector. Furthermore, the company plans to introduce modern electric machinery, including charging stations for electric tractors, solar energy systems for greenhouses, and autonomous electric tractors, which will help farmers reduce costs while improving crop yields.

According to provincial Agriculture Minister Ashiq Kermani, this initiative will revolutionize the agricultural sector. The Chinese company will also establish a charging plant for e-tractors and other electric machinery and supply these technologies to Lahore Waste Management.

AI Force Tech will focus on developing solutions for producing higher yields with minimal water usage and will also establish a digital plantation lab. In addition, the provincial government plans to provide 85 horsepower large tractors for rent to small farmers, giving them access to modern farming equipment.

Minister Kermani emphasized that the digitalization of Punjab’s agricultural sector is a key step towards promoting modern farming techniques, and he expressed confidence in completing this development process across the province in the near future.
