PTI’s Parliamentary Leader in Punjab Assembly Resigns Amid Legal Challenges
Lahore:Hafiz Farhat Abbas, the parliamentary leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the Punjab Assembly, has resigned from his position.
In a tweet on X (formerly Twitter), Hafiz Farhat Abbas stated that his bail had been revoked on political grounds, making it difficult for him to fulfill his responsibilities as parliamentary leader under the current circumstances.
He further mentioned that he has submitted his resignation to the party and requested permission from PTI leader Imran Khan to step down from this role.
Hafiz Farhat Abbas assured that he will continue to support his leader and remain committed as a member of the provincial assembly and a party worker.
