13 More Suspects Charged for Spreading Negative Propaganda on Social Media
Islamabad: Authorities have registered cases against 13 more individuals for their involvement in spreading negative propaganda on social media. According to sources, the government has intensified its actions against those involved in disseminating false and harmful content targeting the state and its institutions.
The arrested suspects, who are accused of spreading fake news, include Salim Akhtar, Salman Nasir, Sajid Hussain, Muhammad Khalid Khurshid, Asim Ayub, Babar Muzaffar, Sheer Azim Khan, Mubeen Shah, Ali Haider, Nadir Hussain, Chaudhry Zulfiqar, Jamil Mirza, and Muhammad Baste Malik.
Sources indicate that the suspects hail from various cities across Punjab, as well as from Gilgit, Ghizer, and Zhob.
This development follows the earlier registration of cases against 19 individuals for similar offenses. Authorities are taking stringent legal action against these suspects to curb the spread of misleading and harmful content.
