Quetta:In response to the violence and firing on Baloch Unity Committee convoys and the crackdown on Gwadar activists and leaders, a protest rally was held today. The rally began at Burma Hotel and proceeded to the University of Balochistan, where a sit-in demonstration is ongoing at the university’s location on Saryab Road.
The Baloch Unity Committee has called upon the people of Shal to join the protest and make their participation in the sit-in a certainty. They emphasized that Baloch blood is not cheap and stated that the violence against their mothers and sisters only strengthens their resolve. The committee’s statement reflects their determination to stand firm against the ongoing repression and to ensure that their voices are heard.
