Polio Virus Confirmed in Three Districts of Balochistan: Urgent Vaccination Campaign Needed

According to a report from the National Health Institute, polio virus has been confirmed in three districts of Balochistan: Chaman, Loralai, and Quetta. Environmental samples collected between January 6 and January 15 revealed the presence of the polio virus.
Health experts have expressed concern, stating that the detection of the virus in environmental samples is a serious warning. To protect children from this crippling disease, it is crucial to intensify the ongoing vaccination campaigns. Public health authorities have appealed to the community to actively participate in the anti-polio drive to prevent the further spread of the virus.
