Police in Quetta Engage in Gunfight with Robbers, Two Arrested in Kachlak

Quetta:Two robbers were arrested in a gunfight with Kachlak police after they opened fire on officers during an attempted motorcycle theft. The incident took place when the police received information that armed individuals were attempting to steal a motorcycle in the area near Bijli Road.

According to police officials, when the New Kachlak police set up a checkpoint at the Jalo Geer location, the suspects saw the police and opened fire. In a retaliatory action, the police returned fire and succeeded in injuring the robbers, identified as Matiullah and Jahanzaib. The two were arrested on the spot and taken into custody.

A third accomplice managed to flee the scene and remains unidentified. Both injured suspects were transported to the Civil Hospital Trauma Center for medical treatment. The police investigation team has begun further inquiries into the case to apprehend the third suspect and investigate the robbery ring.
