Pasni Fish Harbor Authority Employees to Block All Gates in Protest
PASNI:Employees of the **Pasni Fish Harbor Authority** have announced the closure of all internal and external gates of the harbor starting today in protest. The decision was made after consultations with all political parties, the **Anjuman-e-Tajran (Traders Association)**, **Fishermen Welfare Society**, **Pasni Civil Society**, and local elders.
The Fish Harbor is home to over half a dozen factories, numerous shops, hotels, and offices of customs, motorway police, and other departments. The closure of the harbor gates is expected to severely disrupt business activities and may create difficulties for the functioning of various offices operating within the harbor.
The protesting employees have stated that they were forced to take this drastic step due to the personal stubbornness and attitude of **Secretary Finance Balochistan, Babar Khan Kakar**. They claim that the government’s failure to address their demands left them with no other option.
It is noteworthy that the **Pasni Fish Harbor employees** have been on strike since **December 20**, locking the offices in protest. The ongoing protest highlights the escalating tension between the harbor’s workers and provincial authorities, raising concerns about its potential impact on local businesses and administrative functions.
As the strike continues, both business owners and employees are bracing for further disruptions unless the authorities intervene and address the employees’ grievances.
