Pakistan’s Star Spinner Sajid Khan Still Waiting for Central Contract and Salary Payment

Islamabad:Pakistan’s renowned spinner, Sajid Khan, who has been instrumental in dismantling the batting line-ups of rival teams in international cricket, is still waiting for his central contract and salary payment from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

According to media reports, despite being included in the national team’s Test squad after a stellar performance against England’s Test team during Pakistan’s tour, Sajid Khan was placed in Category ‘C’ for the central contract. However, despite passing all fitness tests, he has not yet received the contract or any salary payments.

Sajid Khan recently passed his final fitness test in Multan, after having already completed two earlier fitness assessments.

A spokesperson from the PCB confirmed in a private TV report that Sajid Khan’s central contract would soon be finalized, though they acknowledged that no contract or salary payment has been made as of yet.

According to the PCB spokesperson, the delay in signing the central contract was due to the fitness test requirement. However, with Khan having now passed all tests, the contract will be finalized soon, and the pending payments will be processed.

This delay in formalizing the contract has left the talented spinner waiting, despite his significant contributions to the national team.
