Islamabad:Pakistan has gained another national hero as Taekwondo international player Amir Khan clinched a gold medal at the 7th International Championship held in Bangkok.
Hailing from Mingora, Amir Khan showcased his skills by defeating opponents from various countries in the competition. He triumphed over players from India in the first round, Nepal in the second round, and secured victory against a fighter from the Philippines in the final.
In a phone conversation with Aaj News from Bangkok, Amir Khan expressed his joy at winning the gold medal for Pakistan and dedicated his achievement to the people of Swat.
