Pakistan VPN and AI Users Targeted by Hackers, National Telecom and IT Security Board Issues Advisory
Islamabad:The National Telecom and Information Technology Security Board (NTISB) has issued an advisory warning users of VPNs (Virtual Private Networks) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) services about potential cyber attacks aimed at stealing personal information.
According to media reports, the advisory highlights the increasing risk faced by individuals using VPNs and AI tools, as hackers are launching new cyber attacks targeting these users. The board specifically pointed out that these attacks may involve malicious web browser extensions designed to breach security and steal sensitive data.
The NTISB has urged users to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions to safeguard their personal and professional information against such threats.
