Pakistan Announces 300 Scholarships for Bangladeshi Students under Pakistan-Bangladesh Friendship Scholarship Program

Islamabad:The government of Pakistan has announced the provision of 300 scholarships for Bangladeshi students in various fields of study at leading Pakistani universities. These scholarships will be offered under the Pakistan-Bangladesh Friendship Scholarship Program, a strategic initiative aimed at strengthening academic and cultural ties between the two countries.

The scholarships will cover a wide range of disciplines, including Engineering, Natural Sciences, Medicine, Social Sciences, Arts & Humanities, Business Education, and more. The program will be administered through a consortium of Pakistan’s top universities, under the leadership of the Ministry of Education.

**Strategic Initiative for Academic and Cultural Ties**
The Ministry of Education has emphasized that this scholarship program is a key strategic effort to foster goodwill and promote long-term partnerships between Pakistan and Bangladesh. “This scholarship program is a sign of goodwill and an investment in the shared future of Pakistan and Bangladesh. It is also an extension of Pakistan’s existing scholarship offerings for students from Afghanistan and Sri Lanka,” said Wani.
