Quetta:Major Action Against Fake Currency Gang, Ringleader Arrested

Quetta:In a significant operation against a fake currency racket, the police in Quetta have apprehended the main ringleader. According to the Crime Branch Police, a case has been registered at the Crime Branch police station, and further investigation is ongoing.
On the special instructions of Inspector General of Police Balochistan, Moazzam Jah Ansari, and DIG Crime Branch Javed Meher, a team was formed. Under the leadership of SSP Crime Branch Khurshid Ahmed and SHO Shahbaz Hashmi, the police team conducted a raid on Joint Road, arresting Samiullah, who was found in possession of counterfeit currency.
The police recovered bundles of counterfeit notes with a total value of 300,000 Pakistani Rupees from the suspect. During interrogation, Samiullah revealed that other individuals were also involved in the printing of fake currency, and efforts are underway to arrest them as well.
According to the Crime Branch, the arrested suspect and his associates were involved in circulating fake notes in the market, defrauding innocent citizens. The police have assured that further action will be taken to bring the other members of the network to justice soon.
