Over 100 People in Tunsa Confirmed with HIV in Last 3 Months

Tunsa :More than 100 individuals in Tunsa have been diagnosed with HIV over the past three months. According to Deputy Commissioner of Dera Ghazi Khan, Usman Khalid, only one case of HIV was registered in Tunsa in December 2024. However, following a screening process, it was discovered that over 100 people are infected with the virus.

The Deputy Commissioner stated that a significant portion of those affected are children. In response to this alarming situation, an investigative committee has been formed to determine the causes behind the spread of the virus in the area. The authorities are working on identifying the root causes and taking necessary actions to prevent further transmission.
