Nadeem Rehman Baloch Condemns Alleged Arrest Drama and Raises Concerns Over Growing Feudal Control in Balochistan

Quetta:Nadeem Rehman Baloch, a leader of the Jhalawan Awami Panel, condemned the self-surrender of Sardar Akhtar Mengal and Sardar Gorgin Mengal at the Wadh police station, calling it a staged and false narrative. During a press conference at the Quetta Press Club on Tuesday, Baloch stated that the province was witnessing a bloodbath fueled by RAW-funded militias, leading to increasingly dangerous situations in Wadh, Jhalawan, and across Balochistan. He expressed concern over the control exerted by a few Sardars and Nawabs in the province, claiming that they had dug their claws into Balochistan’s governance.

He said, “These Sardars and Nawabs are aiming to establish a state within a state under the guise of rights over the coastline and resources.” Rehman Baloch further stated that these feudal leaders had incited the Baloch public against Pakistan, despite the people knowing how these leaders attempted to tarnish the state’s image to serve their personal agendas.

Rehman also addressed the tragic killing of his ally, Ali Sher Garganari, in Wadh Bazaar the previous day, alleging that the ongoing arrest drama was merely an attempt to divert attention from the murder. He claimed that the situation in Wadh, Jhalawan, and the entire province had become increasingly precarious due to the influence of these Sardars and Nawabs, who prioritize personal and group interests over the welfare of the public.

“The Baloch people need to free themselves from mental slavery. These so-called nationalist Sardars and Nawabs want the people of Balochistan to remain their subservient slaves,” he said. He also condemned the ongoing feudal system in Balochistan, calling it oppressive, and criticized the lack of genuine efforts to address the public’s issues.

Rehman’s final demand was the immediate arrest of the killers of Ali Sher Garganari and the assurance that they would be brought to justice with appropriate punishment.
