MoU Signed for Interest-Free Loans to Graduates for Business Ventures

Quetta:The provincial government of Balochistan and Akhuwat have signed a mutual agreement to provide interest-free loans to young graduates for initiating businesses.

**Key Points of the Agreement:**

– **Signing Ceremony**:
– The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was formalized during a simple yet dignified ceremony held at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat.
– The MoU was signed by Imran Zarkon, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of Balochistan, and Dr. Muhammad Amjad Saqib from Akhuwat.

– **Attendees**:
– The event was graced by Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti, Senator Sardar Omar Khan Gorgij, Parliamentary Secretary Asfandyar Kakar, Agha Shahzaib Durrani, MNA Ahmad Shah Gorgij, and Balochistan Government spokesperson Shahid Rind.

– **Loan Details**:
– Under this agreement, the Balochistan government and Akhuwat will collaborate to provide interest-free loans to unemployed graduates.
– Loans will be granted based on feasible business plans and will be repayable in easy installments.
– The scheme is open to graduate women and minority communities as well.

The initiative aims to support the entrepreneurial spirit among graduates and promote economic self-sufficiency.
