Mahmood Khan Achakzai Urges PTI to Postpone Civil Disobedience Movement
Quetta: Mahmood Khan Achakzai, the leader of the opposition alliance, has appealed to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to postpone its civil disobedience movement. In a statement, Achakzai urged PTI to delay their planned actions, emphasizing the need for dialogue with the government.
Achakzai stressed that negotiations with the government are crucial at this time, adding that the discussions should focus on when the government will step down. He stated that if a resolution can be found through dialogue, it would be the best course of action. However, if talks fail to resolve the issues, a movement would become necessary.
The opposition leader further stated that if negotiations are successful, he would demand elections within the next four months. He also mentioned that he would visit Kurram and Peshawar the following day, as part of PTI’s invitation, to offer prayers for the PTI martyrs.
