Justice Yahya Afridi Chairs Meeting in Gwadar, Approves Formation of Sub-Committee for Balochistan
Islamabad: A meeting chaired by Chief Justice Yahya Afridi in Gwadar has approved the formation of a sub-committee dedicated to improving the judicial system in Balochistan. The sub-committee will be tasked with presenting a comprehensive package of reforms aimed at enhancing the judicial framework and system in the region.
The meeting, which also included Chief Justice of Balochistan High Court Justice Hashim Khan Kakar, focused on judicial reforms. According to the Supreme Court’s official statement, key matters related to the reform of the judicial system were discussed.
The sub-committee will conduct visits to various prisons across Balochistan and work on improving the functioning of the judicial system. Its goal is to introduce reforms that will address systemic challenges and ensure better administration of justice.
Justice Abdullah Baloch, Monitoring Judge for Prisons, was also present at the meeting, where crucial decisions were made regarding judicial improvements in the province.
