Fake Vaccination Certificates for Umrah Pilgrims Uncovered in Lahore

Lahore:A major scam has been uncovered in Lahore, where fake vaccination certificates were issued to individuals intending to perform Umrah. According to the FIA spokesperson, Dr. Shehzad Naseem, a doctor at the Federal Health Center on Bird Word Road, along with Nursing Assistant Akram, Junior Clerk Shiraz, and others, were involved in issuing fraudulent vaccination certificates for a fee of Rs. 20,000 to a citizen planning to go on Umrah.

FIA officials confirmed that six suspects, including a doctor from the Federal Health Center, have been arrested, and an FIR has been lodged against them. The suspects were reportedly issuing fake vaccination certificates for “Cervical Fever” without actually administering the vaccine.

The FIA has vowed to further investigate the case to prevent such fraudulent practices and take strict action against those involved.
