Junaid Jamshed’s Son Opens Up About His Father’s Marriages and Personal Life
Islamabad:Babar Junaid Jamshed, the son of the late renowned singer-turned-preacher Junaid Jamshed, recently discussed his father’s personal life, including his marriages, in a podcast. Junaid Jamshed, who famously left the music industry for religious work, had three marriages during his lifetime.
Speaking candidly on the podcast, Babar revealed that in addition to his mother, Junaid Jamshed had two other wives, one of whom tragically passed away in the same plane crash that claimed his life. Babar also shared that he and his three siblings had no half-siblings from his father’s other wives.
Reflecting on his father’s life, Babar recalled a conversation in which Junaid Jamshed asked him, “People say your father has had multiple marriages, but tell me, have I ever been unfair to you children?” To which Babar replied, “No, you have always fulfilled your responsibilities and showered us with love.” His father was reportedly content with the answer.
Junaid Jamshed tragically died in a plane crash on December 7, 2016, while traveling from Chitral to Islamabad with his wife after a religious tour. He was 52 years old at the time of his death.
