JUI-F Leader Hafiz Hamdullah Says No Decision Yet on Joint Movement with PTI

Islamabad:Hafiz Hamdullah, a prominent leader of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F), has stated that no decision has been made yet regarding a joint movement with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Speaking on Geo News’ *Capital Talk* program, Hamdullah emphasized that if PTI decides to join forces for a movement, the situation will be evaluated at that time, adding that in politics, nothing is ever final.

Hamdullah also made it clear that JUI-F does not agree with PTI’s plan to launch a civil disobedience movement. He argued that such a movement would ultimately cause more harm to PTI itself than to the government. “Civil disobedience would hurt PTI the most,” he said.

This statement comes after PTI leader Asad Qaiser mentioned that he is in contact with Maulana Fazlur Rehman, the head of JUI-F, and hopes to collaborate on a joint movement against the government. Meanwhile, another PTI leader, Shaukat Yousafzai, issued a warning, stating that if the government does not engage in serious negotiations, PTI will announce a civil disobedience campaign starting December 14.

Yousafzai further added that PTI has formulated a strategy for protests and negotiations, and that protests will continue until productive talks take place. He emphasized that while the party will continue its protests, it will not close the door to negotiations, and discussions will be held with all stakeholders.

The situation remains fluid as political tensions in Pakistan continue to rise, with both PTI and JUI-F considering their options in the face of mounting public discontent and government actions.
