Inflation Rate Drops to Six-Year Low, PM Shahbaz Sharif Congratulates the Nation

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has congratulated the nation as the weekly inflation rate has fallen to its lowest level in six years, standing at 3.57%. In a statement, the Prime Minister attributed this significant reduction to the efforts of the government’s economic team and the blessings of Allah. He noted that the current price index is the lowest recorded since October 4, 2018.
PM Shahbaz Sharif highlighted that compared to the same week last year, inflation has decreased by 39.11%, a clear indication of the government’s economic team’s hard work and commitment. He reiterated his commitment to fulfilling the promises made to the people, vowing to continue working tirelessly to alleviate the public’s hardships.
The Prime Minister stated that the country, after achieving economic stability, is now rapidly moving toward progress. He emphasized ongoing efforts to generate employment, boost industrial growth, and attract more foreign investment.
Further, Shahbaz Sharif pointed out that the increase in remittances from abroad, growing foreign investment, and stable diplomatic relations reflect Pakistan’s positive development trajectory. He affirmed that the political sacrifices made for the country’s progress are not in vain, and all stakeholders are playing a positive role in the nation’s development.
