Indian Actor Dilip Shankar Found Dead in Hotel Room in Kerala
Thiruvananthapuram:Dilip Shankar**, a well-known actor from India’s Malayalam film industry, was found dead in his hotel room on Sunday. According to reports from Indian media, Dilip’s body was discovered in a hotel room in the city of **Thiruvananthapuram**, Kerala.
The reports revealed that Dilip had checked into the hotel on **December 19**, and during his stay, he did not leave his room even once. His colleagues, concerned after being unable to reach him by phone, visited the hotel on Sunday. They requested the hotel staff to open his room, and upon entry, they found the actor lifeless.
It was reported that Dilip Shankar was in Thiruvananthapuram for the shooting of a television series. The director of the show informed the police that Dilip had been suffering from a serious illness, although the exact nature of the illness remains unclear. It was suspected that he had been undergoing treatment for the condition.
The police have launched an investigation into the matter. However, preliminary findings suggest that there were no signs of foul play or unnatural circumstances surrounding the actor’s death.
