Increase in Cold Weather Intensity: Schools Directed to Relax Uniform Policy

Lahore: Due to the increasing intensity of cold weather, the Punjab government has issued instructions to both public and private schools to relax the uniform policy. The Punjab School Education Department has issued a notification in this regard.
According to the notification, students are allowed to wear any type of sweater, jacket, coat, or jersey as part of their winter attire. This relaxation in the uniform policy will remain in effect until February 28.
The School Education Department stated that this decision was made to protect students from adverse weather conditions. All district officers have been directed to ensure that the instructions are implemented in both public and private schools.
