Imran Khan Instructs PTI Leaders to Remove Sher Afzal Marwat from Party, But Marwat Denies Receiving Any Official Notice

According to media reports, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has reportedly instructed party leaders to expel Sher Afzal Marwat from the party. In this regard, V News reached out to PTI leaders who met Imran Khan at Adiala Jail, as well as Sher Afzal Marwat, to gather further details about the matter.

Sher Afzal Marwat, speaking exclusively to V News, clarified that he is currently in his hometown of Lakki Marwat and has not been informed about any such decision to expel him from the party. He stated that no party leader has reached out to him regarding this issue. However, he acknowledged that media reports are circulating claiming that he has been removed from PTI.

Marwat mentioned that he would request the leaders who met Imran Khan at Adiala Jail to clarify whether Imran Khan indeed issued such an instruction or not.

**Senator Ali Zafar Clarifies PTI Leadership’s Position**

Senator Ali Zafar, a key PTI leader who met Imran Khan at Adiala Jail on Wednesday, told V News that although various political matters were discussed during the meeting, the issue of expelling Sher Afzal Marwat was not brought up. Zafar, however, confirmed that there had been some discussion between Imran Khan and Barrister Gohar regarding Marwat, but no official instruction was given in their presence.

**Barrister Gohar’s Statement**

In a media interaction at the Parliament, PTI’s Barrister Gohar also denied any knowledge of Sher Afzal Marwat being expelled from the party. He confirmed that Imran Khan had not issued any such directive to him. Barrister Gohar further added that if any instructions were to come from Imran Khan, they would be acted upon immediately.

The situation remains unclear as PTI leadership members continue to express conflicting views regarding the status of Sher Afzal Marwat within the party.
