Helping Hands Launches Employment Scheme for Unemployed Youth in Gwadar

Gwadar:The Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan and Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA), Molana Hidayat-ur-Rehman, expressed deep concern over rising unemployment and illiteracy in Balochistan. He emphasized that Jamaat-e-Islami is prioritizing efforts to eliminate unemployment and address the issue of missing persons in the region.

Speaking at a press conference at the Gwadar Press Club, he extended gratitude to Helping Hand for initiating a remarkable employment scheme worth 4 million PKR, aimed at providing jobs to 30 unemployed youth in Gwadar. The scheme includes the provision of 3 food carts, 3 fruit carts, 3 loaders with supplies, and other necessary items for starting small businesses.

Molana Hidayat-ur-Rehman further encouraged Helping Hand and Al-Khidmat Foundation to continue their cooperation in resolving the pressing issues faced by the people of Balochistan. He praised Helping Hand’s efforts to provide sustainable employment opportunities, particularly for the unemployed youth of Gwadar.

Regional Head of Helping Hand, Iftikhar Ahmad Kakakhel, along with other political and social leaders, also spoke at the event. They stressed the importance of providing job opportunities for fishermen, orphans, and disabled individuals in Gwadar, noting that these efforts would significantly reduce unemployment in the area.

The event’s theme, “Earn Your Livelihood, Preserve Your Dignity,” called on locals to take control of their future by using their own resources to create successful stories. The scheme is seen as a beacon of hope for Gwadar’s hardworking and talented residents, paving the way for prosperity.

Helping Hand’s Project Coordinator, Abdul Razzaq Baloch, and Project Organizer, Khalil Ahmad Arman, also addressed the gathering, reaffirming their commitment to tackling unemployment in the region and announcing further welfare projects that would focus on providing job opportunities for fishermen, orphans, and disabled people.
