Governor Mandokhail expressed his gratitude for the longstanding friendship and cooperation between Pakistan and China. He highlighted that China’s advancements in science and technology make it one of the leading countries globally, and Pakistan is eager to benefit from China’s expertise, particularly in the field of technological development. The Governor emphasized the importance of solar energy in the modern world, calling it a critical need for the future. He explained that solar power could meet the energy requirements of educational institutions, healthcare centers, agriculture, and household needs, and also contribute to combating global warming. Governor Mandokhail praised Balochistan’s proactive steps to address climate change, noting that the province’s efforts in this regard are commendable.
He further stated that with China’s support, Pakistan could pave new paths for urbanization and industrialization, particularly by empowering communities through solar energy. By utilizing the power of solar energy, the people of Balochistan can move forward, sustainably and independently.
At the end of his address, the Governor congratulated the Chinese Consul General, Mr. Yung Yundong, and the Chairman of the Friends of China Forum, Baizid Khan Kasi, for organizing the successful event.
