Islamabad: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has withdrawn its appeal against the decision of the duty magistrate regarding Sanam Javed’s British citizenship. District and Sessions Court Islamabad Judge Afzal Majoka conducted a hearing on the appeal against discharging Sanam Javed from the case. FIA prosecutor Sheikh Aamir appeared in court.
During the proceedings, Sanam Javed expressed gratitude, stating, “You showed kindness in the case, thank you.” Judge Afzal Majoka remarked, “I delivered justice, did not show favor to anyone. Lawyers kept coming, presented evidence, and I made the decision according to the law.” The court dismissed the appeal on grounds of withdrawal.
