Islamabad:The federal government has issued a notification for a jail trial for the new Toshakhana reference in Toshakhana.
The jail trial notification has been issued under Section 16-B of the NAB Ordinance 1999. Founder of PTI and lawyers of Bushra Bibi have been informed about the jail trial notification.
According to the notification, depending on the current law and order situation, if deemed necessary, the NAB court may conduct the trial of PTI founder and Bushra Bibi in jail.
It should be noted that after being acquitted in a corruption case, PTI founder and Bushra Bibi were arrested yesterday in a NAB case.
According to NAB sources, PTI founder and Bushra Bibi have been arrested in the new Toshakhana reference, as Prime Minister Imran Khan and his family obtained gifts from Toshakhana, acquired items at low prices, and sold them at high prices.
