Quetta:Mir Zohur Ahmed Buledi, Provincial Minister for Planning and Development of the People’s Party, highlighted the government’s efforts to enhance public transportation projects in Balochistan. Speaking on social media platform X, he emphasized the importance of sustainable urban development and ensuring efficient movement of goods and people. Buledi stated that the government is increasing the number of buses in Quetta city, a move expected to significantly reduce traffic congestion.
Meanwhile, the third and final meeting of the subcommittee on the amendment of the Balochistan Universities Act 2022 was chaired by HEC Chairman Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed. The committee finalized its proposed amendments, which will be presented in the upcoming cabinet meeting for approval before being submitted to the Provincial Assembly.
Sardar Akhtar Mengal, President of the Balochistan National Party, expressed condolences over the demise of Buledi’s mother. He prayed for peace for her soul and patience for the grieving family.
