Ex-Chief Minister of Balochistan Abdul Quddus Bizenjo Highlights Focus on Development of Hub

Hub:Former Chief Minister of Balochistan and Senator of the Pakistan People’s Party, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, expressed that both President Asif Ali Zardari and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari have shown a keen interest in the development of Hub, and that Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sardar Usman Baloch, is also paying special attention to the city’s progress. He praised Mir Ali Hassan Zehri for his efforts to improve the prosperity and development of Hub, calling the city his “home” and recognizing the positive work being done by the provincial government.

Addressing a public gathering at Zehri Farmhouse in Hub, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo stated that the purpose of making Hub a separate district was to ensure better services and development. He highlighted that prior to its designation as a district, Hub was part of the larger Lasbela district, but with its creation as a district, more focused attention could be given to the area’s issues. Bizenjo emphasized that the development of Hub was a priority, and he thanked Chief Minister Sardar Usman Baloch for visiting the city to understand its challenges.

Bizenjo also acknowledged that the economy of Balochistan is closely linked to border trade, and reiterated that Chief Minister Sardar Usman Baloch has been advocating for border-related matters on every forum. He expressed hope that once border trade fully opens, it will not only benefit areas like Hub but will also create job opportunities and provide economic relief to local businesses.

He also underscored that while the Chief Minister of Balochistan is focused on the province as a whole, Hub remains a priority for developmental work. He concluded by stating that the progress of Hub is important to both the provincial and national leadership, who are committed to addressing the issues of the people in the region.
