Cracker Attack on Karachi’s Preedy Police Station Leaves Three Officers Injured

Karachi’s Preedy Police Station was targeted in a cracker attack by unidentified assailants, resulting in injuries to three police officers. The attack caused damage to a high-roof vehicle as well.

The injured officers, identified as Constables Arshad, Aamir, and Riyaz, sustained injuries to their legs and faces. Following the incident, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and Bomb Disposal Squad collected evidence from the scene. SSP South, Mazhar Ali, confirmed that the attackers used an RGd-5 hand grenade for the assault.

Sindh’s Interior Minister, Ziaul Lajjar, took immediate notice of the attack and has requested a report from the Inspector General of Sindh Police for further details and updates on the investigation.
