Quetta:Chief Minister of Balochistan Mir Sarfaraz Bugti arrived in Loralai on a two-day visit on Friday. Parliamentary Secretary Mir Barkat Rind, Chief Secretary Balochistan Shakeel Qadir Khan, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Imran Zarkoon, and other relevant officials accompanied him on this occasion. Upon reaching Loralai, Chief Minister was warmly welcomed by Provincial Assembly member Haji Muhammad Khan Tor Utmankhel, Commissioner Loralai Division Baloch Aziz, and other senior officials.
During this visit, Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti chaired a progress review session regarding governmental functioning and developmental projects under his supervision. Commissioner Loralai Division Baloch Aziz briefed the session on progress in various development projects, including peace, education, health, and water availability.
Chief Minister expressed his views, stating that the federal government has announced hospital construction in every province on the model of PIMS Hospital in Islamabad. The provincial government aims to construct a hospital in Loralai Division on a similar pattern. He highlighted shortcomings in the functioning of Teaching Hospital Loralai and other health centers, directing that vacant teaching positions at the union council level should be filled to ensure full operational capacity in inactive schools.
He further instructed that recruitments at the divisional and district levels should be based on contractual terms. Chief Minister also issued directives for stringent actions against drug traffickers, emphasizing the necessity of inter-agency coordination among all departments to improve the law and order situation.
Chief Minister assured timely completion of ongoing development projects in Loralai Division, aiming for overall progress and prosperity in the region.
