Islamabad:Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, the head of Pakistan Muslim League (Q), has commented on the government’s decision to impose restrictions on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), urging the government to thoroughly review its decision.
In a released statement, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said, “The government’s decisions will have far-reaching consequences on national politics. The government will have to prove in the Supreme Court that its action was correct.”
Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain emphasized that it is the responsibility of political forces to consider the economy and the problems faced by the common people.
It should be noted that besides imposing restrictions on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the government has also decided to initiate action under Article 6 against former President Arif Alvi, Imran Khan, and Qasim Suri.
Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar, addressing a press conference in Islamabad, said, “There has been a lot of betrayal with the country. We want to take this country forward. If we want to take this country forward, then PTI and Pakistan cannot go together.”
On the other hand, while various political parties are opposing the decision to impose restrictions on PTI, voices of dissent have also started emerging from within the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
