Chaman: PDMA Issues Alert for Powerful Western Weather System Impacting Balochistan

Chaman:The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has issued an alert for a powerful western weather system expected to impact Balochistan starting tomorrow. According to PDMA, another strong western weather system is moving towards Balochistan and is likely to enter the region on March 2. The western wave is expected to affect Balochistan from Sunday afternoon to evening.

PDMA has stated that areas including Chaman, Ziarat, Nushki, Mastung, Pishin, Qila Saifullah, Qila Abdullah, Chagai, Kharan, Kalat, Sorab, Khuzdar, Barkhan, Hernai, Duki, Musa Khel, Zhob, and Sherani will be under the influence of this system.

From March 2, rain, winds, thunder, and snowfall in the mountains are expected. Therefore, travelers and tourists are advised to avoid unnecessary travel during snowstorms, storms, and the possibility of floods.

PDMA has instructed citizens to stay indoors during strong winds and take precautions. Additionally, all relevant authorities have been instructed to remain alert and take necessary actions.
