BNP Senior Leader Sajid Tareen Expresses Grave Concern Over Humanitarian Crisis in Balochistan, Demands Immediate Action on Missing Persons Issue
Quetta:Balochistan National Party (BNP) Senior Vice President, Sajid Tareen Advocate, has expressed deep concern over the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Balochistan, particularly highlighting the plight of mothers and daughters protesting on the streets for the recovery of their missing loved ones. Tareen criticized the establishment-backed government for its indifference, stating that it remains in a state of oblivion while the people of Balochistan suffer.
In his statement, Tareen termed the issue of missing persons as a serious human rights violation that has caused immense pain and suffering for the people of Balochistan. He strongly condemned the government and relevant authorities for their lack of response, adding that the families of the missing individuals have been seeking justice for years but have found no one to listen to their pleas.
Tareen further criticized the government’s failure to resolve public issues, including the recovery of missing persons, and accused it of gross negligence. He called for immediate and effective measures to recover the missing individuals and provide justice to their families. Tareen warned that if the government and the establishment continued to delay the resolution of this critical issue, public anger in Balochistan would escalate, leading to serious consequences.
“The patience of the people of Balochistan has now reached its limit,” he stated, urging the government not to ignore their legitimate demands any longer. He added that he had been advocating for the missing persons’ cause even when others feared speaking out on the issue.
Tareen emphasized that for peace and stability in Balochistan, the issue of missing persons must be addressed seriously, and the trust of the public must be restored. He concluded by saying that the government must take concrete steps to ensure justice for the families of the missing and resolve the longstanding issue once and for all.
