Balochistan Government to Release Salaries on 24th March Ahead of Eid

Quetta: The Balochistan government has decided to release the salaries for the upcoming month on the 24th of March. According to a notification issued by the Finance Department, government employees will receive their salaries and pensions on the 24th of March in light of the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations.

Previously, the federal government had announced that salaries and pensions for federal employees would be paid before Eid. A notification in this regard has also been issued.

Officials from the Ministry of Finance have stated that Eid-ul-Fitr is likely to fall on either March 31 or April 1, which is why the government has made the decision to advance the payment of salaries and pensions.

According to the official notification, government employees will receive their salaries on March 27, and pensions for retiring employees will also be disbursed on the same day.

The Ministry of Finance has also instructed the Controller General of Accounts to ensure the early disbursement of salaries and pensions.
