Quetta (Qudrat News):The fourth meeting of the provincial cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Balochistan Sarfraz Bugti, took place in Quetta.
During the meeting, the cabinet approved the cultivation of government-owned land under the Green Corporate Partnership Project. Additionally, the cabinet reviewed the Public Sector Universities Act and established a special committee to compare it with other provinces. The committee will include provincial ministers Mir Zahoor Buledi, Mir Shoaib Nosherwani, Bakht Khan Kakar, and the Secretary of Higher Education. The committee will submit its recommendations within seven days.
The Balochistan cabinet also decided to impose a ban on new recruitments in the province’s universities. Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti expressed concern over the universities’ lack of funds for salaries while continuing to make new recruitments and constructing new buildings.
