Asad Qaiser Accuses PML-N Leaders of Attempting to Derail Negotiations

Peshawar:PTI leader and former Speaker of the National Assembly Asad Qaiser has accused PML-N leaders, including Khawaja Asif and Maryam Nawaz, of trying to sabotage the ongoing negotiations by all possible means.
Asad Qaiser stated that PTI remains committed to the negotiations and is engaging with full confidence. He added that after the government promised to arrange a meeting with Imran Khan, they are now making excuses, but PTI is not afraid or intimidated by anyone. “We have put aside our reservations for the sake of Pakistan,” he affirmed.
He expressed regret over the statements made by Maryam Nawaz and Khawaja Asif, accusing them of trying to prevent the success of the talks.
On the other hand, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif responded by saying that after the PTI founder’s tweet, negotiations seem unlikely, but discussions should still take place to formally conclude matters. He also clarified that there is no issue with fulfilling PTI’s demand to meet their founder. As for PTI’s claims regarding the founder’s move to Bani Gala, he termed them as mere wishes with no factual basis. He further stated that the decision on his release should be made by the courts.
