Mumbai:Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has decided to shift his focus towards nurturing new talent in the film industry. The acclaimed actor has taken up the role of producer for the film *Lapatta Ladies*, a move he describes as part of his commitment to providing opportunities for rising stars.
In a recent press conference, Khan explained that the decision came after a period of introspection during the COVID-19 pandemic. At the age of 56, he reflected on his career and realized that while he may have another 15 years of acting left, he needed to think about his future beyond that.
Khan revealed that he wants to share the knowledge and experience he has gained over the years by supporting emerging writers, directors, and actors. He stated, “I want to bring stories that touch my heart. While I may not be able to act in every film, I can certainly produce them. *Lapatta Ladies* is my first project in this new phase.”
Looking ahead, Khan plans to produce four to five films annually, further contributing to the industry by giving fresh talent a platform to shine.
