Apple May Follow Google and Open Office in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Apple may follow Google’s lead and establish an office in Pakistan, signalling growing interest in the country’s expanding technology sector.
According to private TV channel ARY News, US Consul General Stateson Sanders expressed hope while speaking at an event in Lahore that Apple would establish an office in Pakistan.
Sanders said such a development would highlight the growing use of technology in the country and reflect the increasing role of digital services in people’s daily lives.
He noted that technology had transformed people’s lives in the modern era and that its use was also expanding rapidly in Pakistan.
The US consul general described the possibility of an Apple office in Pakistan as a positive development and expressed hope that the company would eventually establish its headquarters office in the country.
The remarks come amid growing interest from major global technology companies in Pakistan’s digital and technology market.
