When We Had Lost Hope, Allah Provided Justice: Aleema Khan Reacts to Imran Khan’s Hospital Transfer

Islamabad: Aleema Khan, sister of former Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan, has expressed gratitude to Allah and appreciation for the Supreme Court after it ordered his transfer to Shifa International Hospital for medical examination and treatment.
Speaking to the media after the Supreme Court’s decision, Aleema Khan said she was extremely grateful that Imran Khan would now receive a comprehensive medical examination and treatment.
“Millions of thanks to Allah that Imran Khan will now be examined and treated. We are very happy with the decision and grateful to the judges,” she said.
Aleema Khan said there had been a point when the family had become completely disappointed, but justice ultimately came at a time when they had lost hope.
“When we had become completely hopeless, Allah opened a way for justice for us, and the decision was made to transfer Imran Khan to the hospital,” she said.
She also thanked the public and PTI supporters for standing by the family during the difficult period.
Referring to the Supreme Court’s restrictions on media appearances and political statements, Aleema Khan apologized to journalists and said they had been directed not to engage in detailed discussions with the media.
“We have assured the court that we will not make any political statements. Please support us because we are worried that we might say something unintentionally that could upset the court,” she said.
Meanwhile, PTI Secretary General Barrister Salman Akram Raja reiterated that he had formally assured the Supreme Court that the party would not hold gatherings or create any disturbance outside Shifa International Hospital following Imran Khan’s transfer.
Raja said PTI leaders and workers must honor the court’s orders and their commitment, stressing that Imran Khan’s health is an extremely sensitive matter and would not be used for political purposes under any circumstances.
