Senator Jan Muhammad Baloch Condemns Deadly Attack, Warns of Rising Violence in Balochistan

ISLAMABAD: National Party leader and Senator Jan Muhammad Baloch has strongly condemned the armed attack on the residence of Abdul Ghafoor Rind, a close relative of National Party central leader and Balochistan Assembly member Chairman Khair Jan Baloch, describing the incident as a serious threat to peace and stability in the province.

According to the statement, Abdul Ghafoor Rind’s son, Mehdood Rind, was killed in the attack, while his brother, Abid, sustained serious injuries.

Expressing his condolences, Jan Muhammad Baloch said the loss of innocent lives is unacceptable under any circumstances and called the incident deeply tragic.

He alleged that Balochistan is being deliberately pushed toward civil strife and fratricidal conflict, warning that the growing atmosphere of anarchy is destabilizing society rather than serving any political cause.

The senator further claimed that the state has failed to establish peace and maintain law and order in Balochistan, asserting that the government’s writ is no longer visible in many parts of the province.

Jan Muhammad Baloch extended his heartfelt sympathies to Chairman Khair Jan Baloch, Abdul Ghafoor Rind, their family members, and all those affected by the tragedy. He prayed for the forgiveness of the deceased, patience for the bereaved family, and a speedy recovery for the injured victim.
