Pakistan Strongly Condemns Drone Attacks on Saudi Arabia, Reaffirms Full Solidarity
Islamabad: Pakistan has strongly condemned the recent drone attacks targeting Saudi Arabia, describing them as a serious threat to regional peace and stability, and reaffirmed its unwavering support for the Kingdom.
In a statement issued by the Foreign Office, the spokesperson said such provocative attacks pose a grave risk to regional security, peace, and stability.
The statement added that Pakistan stands in complete solidarity with Saudi Arabia and reiterated its firm and unwavering support for the Kingdom’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, peace, and prosperity.

According to the Foreign Office, Pakistan has consistently supported efforts aimed at promoting lasting peace, security, and stability in the region and will continue to extend its full cooperation toward that objective.
According to reports, the Saudi Ministry of Defense said its security forces successfully intercepted and destroyed multiple drones on Monday that were allegedly targeting oil facilities in Riyadh and the Kingdom’s eastern region.
The ministry stated that the drones were launched from Iraqi territory by Iran-backed armed groups, describing the attempted strikes as “terrorist acts” and confirming that all drones were neutralized before reaching their targets.

Saudi Arabia has called on Iraq to take effective measures to prevent its territory from being used for attacks against the Kingdom.
Meanwhile, Yemen’s Houthi movement has claimed responsibility for drone attacks on Saudi oil facilities, saying the strikes were carried out in response to alleged Saudi drone attacks. Saudi authorities have not officially commented on the Houthi claim.
The incidents come at a time when tensions between the United States and Iran have shown signs of easing, although the overall security situation in the region remains a matter of concern.
