Emraan Hashmi Says Love and Hospitality of Pakistani Fans Left a Lasting Impression
Islamabad: Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi has praised the warmth and hospitality of Pakistani fans, recalling the overwhelming welcome he received during a visit to Lahore for the release of his film Awarapan.
Speaking in a recent interview on the Indian podcast The Lallantop Show, Hashmi said his visit to Pakistan remains one of his most memorable experiences. He recalled that he traveled to Lahore for the release of Awarapan, where he was greeted with exceptional enthusiasm and affection by fans.
“The love and excitement with which I was welcomed in Pakistan were very special. It was heartwarming to see so many fans there. The hospitality was remarkable, and the reception was truly unforgettable,” he said.
Responding to a question about reports of large crowds during the release of his film Jannat in Pakistan, Hashmi said there has always been strong interest in Hindi films among Pakistani audiences.
“People in Pakistan have a great fascination with Hindi films and enjoy watching our movies,” he added.
Emraan Hashmi is known for his performances in films such as Awarapan, Murder, Jannat, and Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai, while the songs from many of his films have also remained popular among audiences.
