Police Station and Telecom Tower Blown Up in Separate Explosions in Balochistan’s Harnai District
QUETTA: Unidentified armed men destroyed a police station building and a telecommunications tower in two separate explosions in Balochistan’s Harnai district on Sunday, police said.
According to police, the first incident occurred at the Delko Na police station on Sanjavi Road, where unidentified attackers allegedly planted explosives that completely destroyed the building. No police personnel were present inside the station at the time of the blast, and no casualties were reported.
In a separate incident in the mountainous Pan Ghar area of Harnai, unidentified armed men reportedly blew up a telecommunications tower using explosive materials. The explosion disrupted PTCL and DSL internet services in the surrounding area. No injuries or fatalities were reported.
Police have launched investigations into both incidents and said further action is underway.
