Four Militants Killed in Successful Intelligence-Based Operation in Mastung, Arms and Ammunition Recovered

Quetta: Security forces continue to carry out vigorous and effective counterterrorism operations across Balochistan under Operation Al-Azm. According to security sources, four militants affiliated with the group referred to by Pakistani authorities as Fitna al-Hindustan were killed during a successful intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Khad Kocha area of Mastung district.
Security sources said that a large cache of arms, ammunition, and other military equipment was recovered from the slain militants. Motorcycles being used by the militants were also seized during the operation. The sources further stated that several other militants were reportedly injured as a result of the security forces’ effective action.
During the operation, multiple suspects allegedly involved in facilitating terrorist activities were also arrested and are currently being interrogated, according to the sources. Search and clearance operations remain underway in the area, while security forces continue to maintain strict surveillance to eliminate any remaining threats.
The sources noted that intelligence-based operations in Khad Kocha have been intensified following recent militant attacks in the area. Counterterrorism efforts targeting militants and their facilitators are being conducted under a coordinated strategy aimed at further strengthening law and order in the province.
Security sources reaffirmed that operations will continue without discrimination until terrorism is completely eradicated and lasting peace is established in the region. They reiterated the state’s commitment to defeating anti-state elements and ensuring the protection of the lives and property of the people of Balochistan.
