Operations Will Continue Until Terrorists and Their Facilitators Are Eliminated: Balochistan CM

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has praised the security forces for their successful intelligence-based operation in the Khad Kocha area of Mastung, describing it as a significant achievement in the ongoing fight against terrorism.

In a statement, the chief minister said the Balochistan government would continue its operations until terrorists and their facilitators are completely eliminated.

Bugti said security forces carried out a timely and effective operation in which six militants, whom he described as belonging to “Fitna al-Hindustan,” were killed. He added that several other suspects were arrested during the intelligence-based operation.

According to the chief minister, those detained include alleged facilitators as well as male and female suspected suicide bombers, which he said demonstrated the intentions of the militant network.

He further stated that several militant hideouts were destroyed during the operation and that a large cache of weapons and ammunition was recovered, describing the outcome as evidence of the security forces’ professionalism and effective intelligence capabilities.

Bugti said intelligence-based operations in Mastung and surrounding areas have been intensified following recent militant attacks. He added that search and clearance operations remain underway to ensure that no suspected militants are able to escape.

The chief minister stressed that there would be no safe haven in Balochistan for terrorists or their facilitators. He said action against those challenging the writ of the state would continue without discrimination and that every terrorist network would be dismantled.

Paying tribute to the professionalism, courage, and sacrifices of the security forces, Bugti said the entire nation stands with its armed personnel. He reaffirmed that the Balochistan government, in coordination with the federal government and all security agencies, would continue its efforts until terrorism is eradicated and lasting peace is established across the province.
