Mobile Call and Data Packages Get Costlier Across Pakistan

Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) — Mobile operators have increased the prices of call and data packages with approval from the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).The new tariffs reflect an annual increase of 19 to 33 percent in package prices. Monthly call and data packages have become up to Rs500 more expensive.15-day call and data packages have seen a hike of up to Rs300, while weekly hybrid packages are now Rs130 costlier. Three-day packages increased by up to Rs21, two-day packages by up to Rs20, and one-day hybrid packages by Rs5.The PTA has uploaded new tariff sheets for 15 hybrid and data-only packages on its official website.The updated sheets contain complete details of the revised prices, quarterly rates, validity periods, and the facilities being offered to customers by mobile operators.This significant price hike is expected to impact millions of mobile users across the country.
