18-Year-Old Killed in Landmine Explosion in Dera Bugti’s Sui Area

Dera Bugti: An 18-year-old man was killed in a landmine explosion in the Pat Feeder area of Sui, Dera Bugti, according to police.

Police said the victim, identified as Ahmed Ali, was walking through the area when he accidentally stepped on a landmine reportedly planted along the route. The device exploded, killing him at the scene.

Following the incident, police and other law enforcement agencies arrived at the location and launched an investigation to determine the circumstances of the blast and identify those responsible.

Authorities have not yet released further details regarding the origin of the explosive device or whether the area had previously been identified as hazardous. The investigation is ongoing.
